WHAT IS A MANDATORY OCCURRENCE REPORT?
A Mandatory Occurrence Report (MOR) is sent when an issue or incident is identified which has or may lead to the death or serious injury of a significant number of people.
In order to qualify as an MOR these issues must involve either the risk of structural failure of the building or be
linked to the risks of the spread of fire or smoke.

Should you identify an issue which you believe is an MOR, this should be reported as quickly as possible to your
Managing Agent using one of the following methods;

- Defective building work undertaken
- Unauthorised work undertaken
- Discovery of structural defects (internal and/or external)
- Failure of a critical fire safety measure such as automatic opening vents, fire doors, etc.
